A Brief Respite

After the storm and floods at the beginning of the week, yesterday was a bright, sunny, beautiful day.

I spent the morning at the Hospice and enjoyed the drive back in the sunshine.

However, we have been warned that the tail end of Lorenzo is approaching and we are forecast gale force winds and more rain by late afternoon today.

We are moving the garden pots into a place of safety and battening down the hatches!

    1. Thank you Weaver. It has been OK so far but I think the gale force winds are set for the rest of this evening. Quite windy and rainy so far here but not causing any damage.
