Flood

We had very heavy rainfall overnight and woke up to a rather soggy garden and most of our driveway washed away.

 I had a hairdresser appointment this morning so P dropped me off at the door then collected me afterwards as it was lashing down.

      P has filled in most of the ruts but it is still very uneven. We may have to think about resurfacing it next spring, after the worst of the winter weather.

    I have ordered a helicopter. There'll be an emergency Yorkshire pudding drop when weather conditions allow, plus a case of gin as you have probably got the shakes by now.

      Our driveway looked almost as bad. I think we shall need a new delivery of gravel in the spring.
