Sunday. The Bay of Fires

First, my apologies for not responding to comments on my posts. We have limited access to WiFi and not much time!

After watching the sunrise from the treetops and a very good breakfast at our B&B we set off to drive north along Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires. It was given this name because of the vivid orange lichens which cover the huge boulders along the shoreline and glow when the sun hits them.

We then set off north west through lush pasture land and forest, stopping at various points of interest along the way before arriving at our motel for the night.

Hmmm not sure I would stay here

  1. A great set of pictures JayCee. Thanks for sharing. They provide impressions of Tasmania that are rather different from your usual official or promotional photos. Were you staying at Annabel's?
