I Wish I Was There...

Feeling thoroughly fed up this morning.  The news is all coronavirus, stock market freefall, airline collapse misery, migrant crises etc. etc....

I think I have a cold starting too.

So, to cheer myself up I have dug out some photos from our trip to Costa Rica in 2018.  As the title of my post suggests, how I wish I was there right now...

    That first photo is so peaceful and definitely cheering. Life on a white sunny day beach....and a luxury hotel!
    I've had enough of all the depressing news. Where are you going on your next trip? Far far away.

      We are supposed to be going away in a couple of weeks, virus pandemic permitting of course.
      We thought that perhaps we should buy a packet of hand sanitising wipes to take with us but, guess what? they are all sold out. Silly me for not panic buying!

    There's a rumour abroad that The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is about to go into receivership.

    At present I think the best place to be when the weather improves (as I thought it was doing this week but this morning it has proved me wrong) is sitting in my own back garden.

      I agree. I am just too impatient to wait for the weather to improve. Dreaming of warm, sunny places now and hoping this cold and headache clears up soon as that would probably make me feel more cheerful.
