It is bluebell season and our garden and tiny patch of woodland is now a sea of blue. The rhododendrons are also in full, blowsy flower, looking like huge wedding bouquets.
Yorkshire Pudding beat me to it with his lovely bluebell pictures here. I can't compete with his photos but these are mine taken right outside the kitchen door just now.
Beautiful. You can never get too many bluebell pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love that vivid blue carpet beneath the trees at this time of year.
DeleteWonderful colours . Beautiful flowers
ReplyDeleteIt helped that the sun was shining!
DeleteYou and YP are very gifted photographers. The Azaleas(Rhodies) and Bluebells have put on a knockout display. Wow they are gorgeous JayCee.
ReplyDeleteThanks northsider. I only use my phone camera which is nowhere near as good as YP's camera.
DeleteI love those flowers at this time of year.
Thanks for sharing your cheerful pictures JayCee. Blooming days are good days for putting one's frilly bloomers on the washing line...but in case you were about to suggest this, I do not wear bloomers, I wear Homer Simpson boxer shorts!
ReplyDeleteHow tasteful.
DeleteMy frilly bloomers were once used on the Cutty Sark in high winds.
No wonder that fine ship travelled so fast - with billowing pink bloomers in full sail.
DeleteYour flowers are so far ahead of ours. It is lovely to see them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Graham. My sister, who lives in London, says hers are nearly over!
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy favourites x
DeleteGreat shots, Jay!
