What To Do On A Sunny Saturday?

Obviously, you dress up as a dog and do a lap of the TT course in temperatures of 22C.

Today should have been the first Practice Day for this year's TT races, which have been cancelled for obvious reasons, so the course should have been thronged with bikes, bikers and all manner of petrol heads.  In this year of COVID19 however, all is quiet so a local teacher decided to dress up in a rather warm costume and walk a lap of the course to raise money for Rebecca House, the children's hospice.

Good for him.  I hope he manages to raise lots of money for a good cause but I bet he wishes that the weather was more typical of TT fortnight with grey skies and cool breezes.

  1. Having been a schoolteacher myself, I can confirm that many teachers are treated like dogs. Let's hope that the dog teacher gets a knighthood just like Captain Tom Moore. He could also have a hit single with "Walking the Dog" - perhaps accompanied by Michael Ball.

  4. A cryptoid, wolfman is coming to get you. I have been bringing on Bigfoot and Maine monsters so I know all about those dogs that walk upright!
Actually this one looks more a big puppy dog. Good for him.

  5. It's wonderful what people put themselves through to raise money. I went to your TT once in the 90s, we got rained out of our tent after Day 2 and had to find probably the only room that was left vacant. The weather was glorious for the rest of my visit though and I loved that trip. I did the TT course too, but on a motor bike - not racing, and definitely not in a furry outfit!!
