  4. Not much rain here on the south coast but loads of strong wind.
    It howled all through the night and is still going strong at 7.30 this evening. All the climbing roses are getting battered and there are petals strewn everywhere.
    Still mustn't complain, my eldest son lives in Ayr and he has his log burner on to keep warm.

  5. I have some outdoor painting to do. One minute the forecast syas it will stay dry so I start to paint, the next minute the black clouds roll over and it rains on me.
