Hello, I don't think I've commented before, though at my age that might actually be a lie and I've just forgotten about it! I've just recently found your blog and its lovely. I look forward to following along more closely. x
Although I am quite used to talking to myself, any comments on my posts are very welcome, provided they are not abusive. I do reply to them so please check back. It's good to talk (!)
All the rains given you a very abundant crop. Compliments to the Head Gardener.
ReplyDeleteHe was quite pleased with them.
DeleteHow delicious .... what are you going to have with them ? XXXX
ReplyDeleteI have some chicken fillets in a lemon and herb marinade so I will bake those and add a little feta cheese to it.
DeleteThose potatoes are a lovely colour - like fresh eggs. The head gardener deserves a nice snog but for your own safety don't tell Lord Peregrine!
ReplyDeleteA snog? Don't want to risk catching the virus. He'll get a chocolate digestive instead.
DeleteJust what I thought about the potatoes - never seen one from Tesco that colour.
ReplyDeleteI have just asked him about the variety but he has forgotten the name. All he knows is that they are second earlies.
DeleteThe joys of gardening.
ReplyDeleteTastes better than shop bought.
DeleteA head gardner bearing gifts - how nice!
ReplyDeletexxx
He is quite useful sometimes 😁
