Mucky Pup

 After my morning shift at the gift shop today I met a friend for lunch. We had arranged to meet at a nearby small shopping centre as they have a popular café there and we both enjoy looking around the clothes outlets without our other halves in tow.  I had parked away from the main car park as it usually quite busy and, as it was a lovely day, I thought a short walk would be good.

We had soup and a chat and then mooched around the shop for an hour or so. I bought myself a new jumper - as you do - and enjoyed the walk back to the car in the sunshine.

I changed into my cosy new jumper when I arrived home and felt quite pleased with my new purchase.

Supper was pasta with a passata based sauce.  Unfortunately I managed to somehow splash  a fair bit of it all down the front of my brand new jumper.   I have sponged it down with some cold water and keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't stain.

Clumsy me.

    There's a new fangled invention that would clearly be of great value to you JayCee. Perhaps Prince Peregrine will buy you one for Christmas. It is called a bib!

      Perhaps one of those plastic ones with a gutter so you can retrieve the spillings and consume them.

      Luckily I can't see any stains this morning so seems to have worked. I think YP's suggestion of a bib would be useful in future!

    At least it was on your jumper, the other day I had food on my face and didn't know it was there until Tom told me. Is this the first signs of being decrepit ? lol

      I had visions of having to bin the jumper on the very day I had bought it! At least your face is still there after washing it! xx

    Haha .... the signs of old age. Whenever I visit a family friend who is 93, she invariably has food stains down her top !!! Just kidding ... you are a long way from that scenario ! Pasta is notorious for spillage ... I’m always doing it ! XXXX
