Gold

Today has been a very quiet day here.  Nothing important to do so just pottering, reading and slobbing out on the sofa, from where I have just watched a beautiful sunset.

My Samsung tablet's camera is not great but the colours were pure gold.

  1. Great autumn photos. I will be singing "Gold" by Spandau Ballet all night now.😊

    1. It was even better when the sun had set - lots of indigo and purple!

  3. Pottering? I didn't realise that you were into ceramics JayCee. Do you have your own kiln?

  4. Lovely sunset! Helps take my mind off the WAITING over here (just for a second, tho). It is looking good for Biden so hoping we can celebrate tonight (or tomorrow or Sunday or maybe Monday)! The current president may explode!

    1. Sometimes sunsets and peaceful moments help to focus on the things that make life worthwhile.

  5. What a nice view you have! My particular earworm is Tom Petty "Waiting is the Hardest Part" I also am anxious to celebrate the official end to this national nightmare.

  6. What wonderful photos you’ve captured of the sun and trees. My favorite thing to capture is that moment the sun leaps up from the ground and dazzles my eyes. Sunrise or sunset, though, it is lovely!

    1. Thank you. As our windows face south-west I don't get to see many sunrises but at this time of year the sun sets directly in line with our house. On an evening like that one, the sunsets can be spectacular, but disappear very fast.
