Northsider Dave recently mentioned his wife's aversion to his preference to keeping the sauce bottles out on the table... here...
I am on his wife's side on this matter by the way.
Anyway, P received this birthday card a year or so ago from a "wine connoisseur " friend of ours and Dave's post reminded me of it.
I have dug it out for you here...
That's a cracker JayCee. You always make me smile and laugh.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would make you smile 😁
DeleteYes, ketchup lives on our table too. Not so much the brown sauce but it does come out occasionally.
ReplyDeleteOurs is hidden away in the cupboard.
DeleteWomen's Lib is all very well and good but when a man can't keep his condiments on the table - well then the end of the world is surely nigh.
ReplyDeleteYou would do well to keep your condiments out of sight, YP.
DeleteThe only sauce permanently on our (kitchen) table is Tabasco; the red (and Mayo) sauce is kept in the fridge.
ReplyDeleteI never keep anything out permanently on the kitchen table or worktops. It all has to be shut away out of sight!
DeleteNevr heard them calle condiments before YP - and certainly not in Yorkshire.
ReplyDelete😉
DeleteNo, my condiments live in the cupboard and only go on the table at meal times...
ReplyDeleteYep. Me too.
DeleteI'd be asking for the yellow.
ReplyDeleteIs that like yellow snow?
