A lazy Sunday today, just chilling and enjoying the warm sunshine in the garden.
As I am feeling very lazy I thought that I would just post a few photos of sights from our perambulations this week.
Not your usual old jalopy. A couple of local cars seen along our way.
Lunch treat in Douglas before my second jab appointment.
Poppies growing in a patch of waste ground two houses along from us.
And finally, sitting out in the garden this afternoon waiting for P to bring back Magnums from the shop.
A litre and a half of wine - in the plural - do you have one each? Respect! I'm never going drinking with you.
ReplyDeleteThose were the days, Tasker...sigh...
DeleteThose 'jalopies' would have my brother absolutely drooling. Cars like that common on your island then?
ReplyDeleteThere is a very active Classic Car Club on the island and we often see some beauties out and about.
DeleteSitting out waiting for a Magnum sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteIt was heavenly, but 245 calories!!!
DeleteMagnums? You mean those powerful handguns? Who's been upsetting you - noisy neighbours?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty rough around here.
DeleteThat garden is nice! And the clear blue sky is perfect for sitting outside!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely smaller than our last garden!
DeleteOn my last shopping trip I bought several packs of mini-magnums; the ordinary vanilla ones. They certainly hit the spot, and Billy loves the ice cream (no chocolate for him).
ReplyDeleteI shall look out for the mini versions. The full size one is just too much.
DeleteTalk of Magnums is making me hungry. Beautiful blue sky your way. We've got wall to wall rain and I've just switched on the central heating.
ReplyDeleteGolly. It's usually the other way round with the weather. We generally have all the cold, wet stuff up here.
DeleteBlue skies and poppies are a winning combination. Magnums don't hurt either...well, except on the hips.
ReplyDeleteI think more walking may be needed.
